At day’s end catch the Heavenly Gondola down 2.4 miles straight into the heart of South Lake Tahoe. The Gondola provides a “from the clouds” view of Lake Tahoe as it drops to lakeside right between the Fountain Plaza and the casinos. Dining, shopping, dancing , accommodations, shows, gaming and sightseeing possibilities spread from this focal point in all directions. Shop Heavenly’s Village for that perfect ski jacket at North Face or Patagonia. For late night dancing Vex and Blue nightclubs rival Vegas’ best. Keep watch for South Tahoe’s Convention Center due to be completed in 2009 bringing world class shows to the foot of the Heavenly mountains.
