Copper Mountain Ski Resort is everything a ski and snowboard enthusiast could want. the mountain is known as "Colorado's Perfect Ski Mountain." This winter, the mountain brought Colorado's first detachable 6-passenger chairlift, the "Super Bee." Along with the Super Bee also came the "Excelerator." The "E" lift is a high-speed detachable quad-lift. This Colorado ski resort has also added snowmaking which will cover an additional 110-acres of the mountain. With these new renovations and investments, Copper Mountain is set to impress any ski vacationing traveler.

The terrain at this Colorado ski resort is simply amazing. Whether you're just beginning or about to go pro, Copper Mountain definitely has what you need. Catalyst is Copper Mountain's famous terrain park, this is where that extreme skier and snowboarder will get their fix. The park is set up with beginner and intermediate tracks, in order to improve the freestyle skills before going "big." Once your skills are developed…get ready, because Catalyst has some massive tabletops, extreme hips, crazy rails and an 18-foot quarter pipe, just waiting for any potential challenger. Once you're through the park the fun doesn't end...an award-winning 430-ft long and 18-ft high superpipe is awaiting you. Among other renovations and investments the resort has made, Copper Mountain also bought snowcats strictly for the terrain park and the superpipe, making it one of the best-maintained parks in Colorado.

Copper Mountain offers quality ski and snowboard instruction. The mountain has qualified and experienced trainers that can help you in all aspects of your skiing or snowboarding. Lessons are available for adults and children, as well as privately if preferred. The mountain features a Kids Seasonal Program and Ski & Ride Tips. Age at Copper Mountain Ski Resort doesn't matter, if you're 45 or older, check out the "Over the Hill Gang," which is a ski club for those looking for some fun and still young at heart.
